help. games wont run on new firmware

Hi, i'm having trouble using the new firmware (1.7). i get two white screens only. the games are playable on the previous firmware but i'm unable to save. any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks :D

all of them or just a select few !?

read the posts on the DAT file updates and make sure you have the latest dat file :)

Try re-patching your clean ROMs with the latest Supercard 2.57 patcher software. When patching ROMs make sure you select the option to "save to SD" by double clicking the name in the patcher list. Use this compatibility list for the best patcher settings for each game . . .

Make sure you copy both *.dsq and *.sav files to your SD.

Oh yeah, 2.58 is the latest.  :oops:  I haven't been keeping up with my slot2 supercards lately.  :)

Sometimes just formatting the SD makes it works again. Backup your files if you must.

This happened to me with 1.7, what happened was it wasn't perfectly compatible with my M4Key. For some reason setting the switch to GBA fixed it. Up until that, running my MiniSD through the GBA slot worked fine, just without the DS games. I never repatched any gamees. btw.

thanks for this. i'm using m4key as well. i'll try it tonight.  :D
