Just as a side note, it's rude to ask for links to commercial ROMs.
It's also illegal for us to give them you. The only reason I really care is because SCDeV could be shut down if people put links here.

just so say: i highly doubt anything resembling c&c will ever be made, and anything worth playing for more than a day or two, could be a very long time away

I've been following the CNCDS project for quite a while now, and they seem to be well on their way on making a fully playable version. It started a little over 6 months ago, and after getting through all the clicks and stuff, they are working on how units shoot and things like that. I really can't wait.
