Whats the difference between the Supercard Lite Rumble and the Supercard Lite? I'm thinking of buying on, and it's a lot cheaper then the Supercard Lite.  Does it run the same games? Does it get firmware updates? Or am I better off paying more for the Supercard Lite? Does anyonek now where I could find reviews for the Supercard Lite Rumble?

rumble cards both lite and standard have no extra ram and cannot run GBA and some homebrew .. oh and it RUMBLES  :)

if you want DS only and not much homebrew then lite rumble is a good card same with the standard supercard rumble  (none lite) :)

What does the extra RAM do? Is it just for homebrew?

He just said it can't run GBA games and some homebrew.

Also some homebrew that doesn't necessarily need the RAM does not boot on Rumble cards for some strange reason.  For instance, SNEmulDS used to work on Rumble carts, but not it gives white screens.  It has been suggested that this is due to DevKitPro r20 being used instead of r19.

In my opinion, since the Rumble carts and slot-1 cards have about the same capabilities, I would suggest a slot-1 card over a Supercard Rumble.  You get clean DS rom ability and about the same amount of homebrew support.

Well, the Supercard Lite Rumble costs £14.65 on BambooGaming, plus £5 for a micro SD card and £5 P&P. The M3 DS Simply and Supercard DS cost about £20 with the same £10 added on. Do you think it's worth the extra money? I don't really play GBA games, and I'm not that interested in homebrew either.

If you don't care about homebrew or GBA games, you should definitely get an R4, M3 Simply, EZV, or SCDSOne, and that's in my order of preference.

For that little of a price difference (which I know is about $10 US, but still) I would recommend a slot-1 card too.  If all you're going to be doing is commercial DS games, then a slot-1 card will give you fewer hassles and less frustration.
