Is this thing as lame as it sounds? I bet the video converter is just BatchDPG since Datel doesn't seem to code their own stuff anymore.

Hi

I don't know, but it DOES look pretty lame. I like that these people are trying to introduce nds homebrew to more people, but maybe they should do it with good flash carts. And sorry, but I just can't imagine this thing being any good.

The thing is, datel doesn't want to be sued by nintendo... thus they don't want to release an actual flashcard that can support DS backups.

They also want to sell it at Best Buy ...

Is it really safe to assume that it'll work like a normal Slot-1 flashcart?
Setup: Onyx DS Lite, CycloDS + Kingston 8GB MicroSDHC; Camo GBA Micro, EZIV + Kingston 2GB MicroSD

Minus DS rom compatibility and with lackluster homebrew support, yes.  The former could potentially be fixed by another "anonymous" cracker program, the latter being improved once a DLDI patch file is made for it.

Useful to "buy" to flash your DS maybe ... then "return" ... Everytime I go to Best Buy, there are several "returned" Max Media Dock/Launchers ... and I always laugh, knowing full well why they were returned. :)
