Hey guys,

My Japanese Kingston should be showing up tomorrow. So my question is: Should I format when I get it?

Or will the problem games(PoR, Downhill Jam) run perfectly even without formatting it to something like FAT, 32K Cluster.

With a Japanese Kingston, formatting it with 32k clusters will do next to nothing.  It already runs almost perfect with FAT.

So the card will already come formatted to FAT right? I shouldn't have to do anything but throw games on it when I get it?

Ummm I am not too sure that it'll come formatted FAT.  When it comes just right click it and do Format and format to FAT.  It is safer that way.

Yea, I format them a lot.  I have to swap carts between flash carts to do my reviews for tests and stuff.  Even though I generalize, I do do a lot of tests before writing up my reviews.  So I have to format in between each change, sometimes they get corrupt and stuff like that so I format again.

Hmmm...I hope I don't get a corrupted card, or save. I'm new to flash carts that use microsd's, so that's why I'm asking all these stupid questions, lol.

But ok, thanks. I'll format it to FAT before I throw any games on it. Hopefully PoR is going to run flawlessly on it.
