On the SC self test it gives a 0b error on the SD/MMC test.  It's just the SD not found error, but it's found fine in the SD reader...just not the SC.

Anyhelp?

Hi

Have you tried reformatting the card?

have you tried wedging the card with a piece of paper to help the contacts, or cleaning them, or something?

Yep, I think my friend might have destroyed the card because he wedged a huge piece of paper in there.   I would get in there to make sure all pins are up and good, but the screws are stripped lol

try reflashing the firmware (use a .bin update)

I have a SCcf and i get error code 05 but i do have a similar problem, when i put the SCcf in my nds it gives me a screen saying "not find the CF please turn off GBA" the interesting thing is that when i put the SCcf in my GBAsp it works just fine. This might not be whats happening to u but why don't u try ur card in a GBA and see what happens, If you don't have one you can stop at your local game shop that sells used systems and ask them if you can try a GBA that "your thinking of getting ;)"

That's the first time I've heard of that, I'll definately try it.  I think I have an SP down somewhere in the basement.
