THIS IS THE DIALOG BOX THAT APPEARS when you choose the
properties of the rom listed in new Patcher v.2.42

So can anyone explain the differences???Please

ROM Position means where it loads the rom, straight from CF/SD or load to the RAM of the SC (like GBA games)

Saver Patch means saving to the original cart, or save to the CF/SD card.

If i'm wrong please somebody correct me!

thanks. what of these do you suggest?? what are the difference in performance choosing one or anaother ?

If you save to DS Cart, you will lose the save game in that cart!
I'm not too sure but you might also need the same save size.

If you load it to the RAM of SC before running, it will load slower and includes reading the whole thing to the RAM first ALA GBA style, so this could consume more battery, and not sure if it even works for ROMs > 32 MB.

Saving battery is not my top priority now, functionality is, so I go for both SD options.

I am not able to get  save to work, I can now do the fast load but no saves
