There's an alpha version of Okiwi out now. Doesn't do much: only the keyboard and the zoom setting works. Need to patch with DLDI. Pretty nice looking.

At least it's got more to show than Gnirfleo for now.  Still kind of a shame we can't load our own HTML files, but I guess that will come later.

Dudu.exe

man i hate DLDI =[ it just dont work for my supercard Rumble.. =/

tried all Supercard SD (and microsd) dldi files but just do not work =/

allways get white screens!

Ps: Moonshell dldi do not work too

Wintermute has confirmed that applications built with the latest r20 release of DevKitArm do not boot correctly on SC Rumble cards.  Try launching them from an older version of Moonshell that does boot.

Hi

I prove my point, didi is fantastic but not perfect.

Hi, the problem has nothing to do with DLDI (not didi).  It has to do with execution of the program, not the filesystem access.

And I don't know where you ever stated that DLDI was bad, but whatever.

By the way, I wasn't able to mail you the GBA light this weekend.  I'll do it ASAP.

Hi

I posted my opinion on didi in the thread "Is the ultra flash pass ex good?"

It doesn't matter if it's program exacution or not, the fact is there ARE problems.

I don't think didi is bad, just not perfect. and this shows it.

DLDI patching on a Lite Rumble does indeed give you quite a few problems.

For Moonshell 1.6finalfinalfinalbeta, use the SD version, that worked on my MicroSD Kingston 1gb Taiwan. I can't remember if you have to patch it with DLDI or not after that, but if I did, I'm sure I patched with the SD DLDI patch.

After I bought a MicroSD Kingston 1gb Taiwan, I had to again use the SD version of Moonshell, but then patch with the SC Lite Transflash DLDI patch. Go figure.

Moonshell 1.7 has given me nothing but problems, usually in the form of white screens.

Given how nice Moonshell 1.6 is already, it's worth the effort. Most DLDI have worked for me on my SC Lite Rumble, just takes a bit of guesswork. Still far superior than the way it used to be handled. I was able to get SnemuDS or whatever it is, to work just fine.

I did finally get fed up, and purchased both a SC DS One, and a SuperCard Lite, which I just received in the mail today. So I'm a happy camper!

There is nothing wrong with DLDI, the fault is with companies either not releasing drivers for their device, or changing their devices so that the driver they released no longer applies to all of the same type of card.

In the case of the Supercard Rumble, it's actually a problem with the compiler used to create the program, as homebrew compiled with the latest r20 release of DevKitPro do not seem to boot on the SC Rumble.
