I recently got this Phoenix Wright script Editor and it extracts the script from the Phoenix Wright rom and I was wondering if it could extract the script from the new game, I'll post with results

The editor is attached so feel free to download it and test it out

Here It is http://www.romhacking.net/utils/PWSE_0.2-1_win32.rar

Not that any one care's But I've got the scripts in txt format and I'm try to translating them now! So if you A Phoenix Wright Fan here are the steps to getting the script's into texts files:

1.Download the Phoenix Wright script editor from post above

2.Some how get the Phoenix Wright 4 rom and paste it into the Phoenix Wright Script Editor folder

3.Put nds tool(come's with the script editor) in the same folder as the rom and rename the rom to ds.nds

4.Put this code in note pad and save it as a .bat file in the same diretory as ndstool and the rom: ndstool.exe -x ds.nds -9 arm9.bin -7 arm7.bin -y7 y7.bin -y9 y9.bin -d data -y overlay -t banner.bin -h header.bin.

5. When the rom is extracted go to the data folder and find and copy the mes_all.bin file and paste it into  the Phoenix Wright Script Editor directory

6. Make a new folder in side the Phoenix Wright Script Editor directory and name it scripts.

7.Start up the Phoenix Wright Script Editor and select the phoenix wright 4 rom, then after it will come up with a menu with aplly modification from zip or from folder, dont click any of those click advanced commands.

8.Select the Extract Script Archive to folder, when it ask's you for a file select that mes_all.bin file then when it ask's for a folder select the scripts folder.

9. Look in that the scripts folder and see if there are files with the name of script-XX.bin, X meaning the number of the file. If they're there then procced to step 10

10.Go back to the Phoenix Wright Script Editor and select advanced commands and then click on Convert Binary Script to Text. When it asks you for the script select one of the files in the scripts folder and it will convert it to a txt files, I would reccomend using Word Pad for editing this but there you have it the New Phoenix Wright game all ready expolited and beginning to be translated from Day 0!

Heres A basic understanding of what the 1st script says:

Key: Blue means infomation
Green: To make the text go down a line
Red: Where theres text

note: All though the commands in the script are visible I think that the Japanese is not So im getting trying to get the japanese to display but Have already put my own code into it so its working,

Update: The japanese symbols are repesented by number corresponding to their character in brackets example is above in the picture

I presume you don't think that this game will ever get officially released.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

Exactly............................NOT!

The reason I'm doing this is because

1. It's Easy

2. It's A Challange to see if I can get it done in time

3. And I'm only probally going to do the first case,

Kudaku

wow you can only see the symbol number? that's got to be tough and painstaking

VoX

I have succsesfly translated the first few scene's of the game into english so stay tuned

The japanese version has no english date, and there's no notice of Phoenix Wright 3 being Gyakuten Saiban 4 so far.

Some people have speculated that CapCom will localize (translate) Gyakuten Saiban 3 to western countries first before Gyakuten Saiban 4
