I heard that the new firmware is able to reduce power consumption of the superpass & supercard,it's true or not? & is anyone know how it's work? cause my nds battery is get low very quickly when using superpass & supercard. thx

It's like this:  if you leave your superpass and your supercard in while you play an NDS rom, you use even more battery power.  Now, you can boot into the supercard menu with superpass, then REMOVE superpass, and play rom as usual (assuming you chose the option of saving to SD/CF card, when you patched the rom)...  This saves a little battery power...

But overall, playing direct from SD/CF (which is what the new firmware makes possible) actually drains more power than playing from supercard's SDRAM.

So the answer is yes and no.  hope that helps  :)

Now, have you or anyone else actually TESTED this? Or are you all just going on heresay?

And if no one has actually tested this yet, is anyone else going to? If not, I'll test it out and post my results.

it is not heresay.  i have not tested it with precise timing, but i can tell you it is true.
