I have never bothered to upgrade, and am now currently at firmware 1.44.

I've been looking for all the old firmware upgrades so i can go up to 1.7, is there an archive somewhere where i can download them?

p.s having to upgrade them one by one isn't all that great

The "Downloads" link on your upper left should have copies of all you need.  And yes, you'll need to upgrade one by one.

If you ever use QPC saving, note that it might be broken for you with the 1.7 upgrade.  To remedy this, simply reboot in GBA mode instead of DS mode when you want to QPC save.
