I havnt been messing around much with my DS lately or checking any news , and noticed a new SC that is slot 1 , now I have heard all the glamour of the DS-X , and I'm wondering how well does the new SC One work?

Are saves stored on the MicroSD , and I understand no conversions or modding needed , and if I got one is there any reason to keep my old slot 2 SC?

If you have a non-rumble "old" supercard in slot-2, you will be able to run the opera web browser using a special patch.

That RAM can also be used for other various DS homebrew projects like DSLinux, SnezziDS, larger JPEG decoding in Moonshell, etc.  Also note that the port of Quake II will require RAM to be usable.
