I am wondering how well the 2g and 4g sd cards work in the, SC SD, SCLite, and SCDS1?

also which brands and size of SD cards in which supercard are you using?

The main goal is for NDS roms, and secondary to that would be moonshell.

Looking for as much input as possible, thanks.

My 2 GB miniSD card works fine for nearly everything except DSLinux, which Pepsiman has confirmed is an issue with all 2 GB cards.  4 GB cards use a slightly modified filesystem that may or may not work in homebrew devices.  See http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?t=12850 and the Wikipedia article on Secure Digital for some more info on this.

watever sd you use, make sure its FAT16 format, or just FAT, that format works better with roms

Thank you power2pc. I am very familiar with the FAT16(FAT) format and SC, but i am glad you are passing that info on as it is one of the gotcha problems new users of supercard run into.

Looking for as much input as possible about my first post, thanks.

To add detail to my past post, my 2 GB miniSD card is made by PQI and it was fairly cheap, about $20.  HDtune reports a response time of about 6-7 ms, so I'm sure it's too slow for PoR, but I haven't tested the game myself.  All the DS games I have put on there have worked fine with no issues.  I've never had a problem with Moonshell either aside from the problems everyone has with audio/video sync, which has little to do with the media card.

My only complaint about the card is that the miniSD-to-SD adapter it came with was very cheap and flimsy.  A few days ago, the write-protect tab broke off, and as a result I am unable to edit my card on the computer.  I can thankfully use DSFTP for small uploads and downloads, but I'm still looking for another miniSD card so I can get a new adapter.  Gotta wait until they go on sale though, as my local electronics stores want to sell me a 1 GB card for $40, which is half the capacity and double the price of the one I'm currently using.

I have a Sandisk Ultra II 2gb for my Supercard CF, and it runs beautifully.

thanks for input but looking for SD cards, not CF. I may purchase a 2gig  pqi or adata from newegg. The pqi is 13-14 dollars.
