.sav Files

I have a Supercard SD and was wondering if it is possible to transfer a .sav file to the actual cartridge of the same game. and if so, is there a way to do it the other way round. By this I mean transfer the save file from the cartridge to the SC SD?

Use REINmoon in conjunction with this video tutorial to get things going. You can also backup game saves (but not restore them) over Wifi by using SavSender, which I've written a how-to guide for in the FAQ section of this forum.

edit2-corrupted my MKDS save so now that it is erased I will try again

I've tried saving my .sav file onto my Pokemon Pearl catridge and it doesn't work, it just keeps saying "The error occured. stopped".

Is it compatible with Pokemon Diamond / Pearl because I want to put my save onto the cartridge but I can't on that version of REINmoon for some reason.

It just keeps saying that theres a "DS Card Error" when I try to transfer my save from my Supercard to the Pokemon Pearl Cartridge

It has allways worked for me. Try converting to a different save type if it doesn't work. I have to convert ds-link save to M3 simply for it to work, but when I had done it in the past I copied a sc sd save straight to ds cart using this version of rein

lol.... yeah,

i tried helping some people with hacking some pokemon into their files...

for pokemon diamond - it works as it should

for pokemon pearl - its pretty strange -.- it doesnt erase everything and then rewrite it... very awkward

it basically shows ERASING FLASH TYPE 3, (or something to that extent) for about 1 second when it should be around 8....

pkmn diamond works, and pkmn pearl doesnt... (fully)

dont know if its the game itself or the actual cartridge

Perhaps Pearl and Diamond have different savetypes. A guy at GBAdev said that Pearl was a 512 kb Type 4 save, and others seem to confirm that it uses more than 256 kb, while I haven't had issues with my 256 kb save file in Diamond. Your results also seem to show a similar trend.

Just a possibility anyway.

Yeah, this works. Thanks very much. I didn't even have to convert it, it just worked straight away

yeah, I figured it would. I have had problems with other versions of rein, so I just keep this version around. I'm glad it worked out for you.

Yeah, this works. Thanks very much. I didn't even have to convert it, it just worked straight away

I've been trying to do the same thing for a few days now. I thought I would try this but It still isn't working for me. When I use Rein 06a to back up the files all it does is corrupt everything on my sd card and I have to start over.

Any suggestions how I can transfer pokemon save to and from my cart?
