2gb microsd kingston japan

i just bought 2 and they are from japan. only 30 with shipping and tax included.

just got them today, and i am very happy. indeed i can confirm they are legit japan version. i used hdtach and the average read speed was 9.5mbs and random acces 1.4mbs. i got not slowdowns on my supercard lite nor ez flash 4 with all games. they even load faster, ex. brothers in arms. I recommended to any one who is looking for a 2gb microsd card. i give a 10/10 its faster than my ultra 2gb.

NOTE: the model of the microsd is SDC/2GB but ive only seen the japan version at dz tech, newegg has the taiwan

POR is 5/5 on the supercard lite, no slowdowns at all or sound glitches, perfect!. The same for the R4 and supercard DS ONE. On the ez 4 deluxe lite also the sames.

P.S. No freezing when teleporting or dying on any of the flash carts mention above.

Yeah i gotta get me one too. I have to find a site that sells only the Japanese ones though. I dont want to take the chance of getting a Taiwan made card.

Nevermind, just saw that the site that Johnny linked us to specifically says the card is made in Japan. Thanks for posting this.

How long did it take for your card to arrive Johnny? Did you take just the standard shipping? It arrive by USPS?

i choose regular first class mail(usps), which actually is the only option they have, i think. However it arrive in 3 days, 1 day to ship it and 2 to arrive, pretty fast and reliable if you ask me.

Thank you very much for the info johnny. That's a pretty good site. I like that they're in the States, since i usually do all my ordering by money order.

EDIT: Just ordered mine. Can't wait until it gets here.

Did you get your free microsd reader with yours Johnny? I just noticed when I ordered mine, it comes with a free one. Hopefully it's a halfway descent card reader.

that sucks for me, i didnt get one. man i would of love a microsd reader, i just email him to kindly ask him if he could send me one and hope he does.

Well...obviously the promotion started after you ordered yours. But he's really good on answering emails, he answered all of mine promptly, and was very nice in them. So I wouldn't be surprised if he did send you a microsd reader.

Yeah, my 2GB showed up today, and it did come with a microsd reader. I haven't used it though. I just used the one that came with my R4.

And yeah, this card is just as fast as the 1GB Kingston Japans. PoR performs flawlessly.

I am going to buy one of these for myself for my scds1 (version 1).

If i get my daughter a SCDS1 (latest version), do you still need one of these or can you get by with any brand?

Or does the same still apply with speeds?
