i just wanted to know if like, pushing on the touch screen too hard could ware off the sensitivity of the screen? im usually really gentle with mine so i wanted to know if being a little rough with it could mess it up or anything cause i had a toy when i was little that had a touch screen and the sensitivity wore down and eventually i had to like stab the screen to get it to work =/. i dont want that to happen to my ds too.

another thing i wanted to know is like i play super mario bros on there alot and i hold down the B button the whole time and everthing and i wanted to know if that would ware down the button. cause i noticed that ill have it held down and sometimes he'll shoot a fireball when ive never let go of the button =/.

can u guys help me out?

theres a video around the web where some guys go to walmart and push the touch screen in as hard as they can and it works fine afterwards but, everything wears off over sometime, it's just the way things work.  Nothing will last forever, but you shouldn't worry about it.

And the B button thing.  I assume you just accidently lift up a little maybe because your finger gets tired.  And the durability also refers to above it will deteriorate no matter what but it should last you atleast a couple of years.

Like Killswitch said, dont worry with the touch screen thing. I once tried to break it with a stylus but it stood. So dony worry

 i too dont like pressing hard on the screen so i keep a hori screen protector only on the bottom and it protects atleast from scratches and even makes the screen and color look better not even kiddin, not the same story for the top screen though. its funny how we take care of our ds lite touch screen and we even sometimes press hard on the screen but we feel uncomfortable looking at someone else press are screen down a little hard, it kind hurts to watch at least that my case. specially stupid metroid which you have no choice  but press harder than usual. LOL
