Hey,

I was wondering if any of you know whether the 'pure white' DS (from Japan) is compatible with passme?

I sold my silver DS because i want a brand new one, and i want the white one, but i want to make sure i can install flashme on it!

any help would be appreciated!

Someone at the official forum is having problems with it, ALMOST ALL new nds colors aren't compatible.

what are the first 4 digits/letters of your serial?  if you don't mind me asking... and when did you purchase your pure white?

I am curious on this too. I was thinking of picking up a White DS from Play-Asia, but wanted to make sure that it will work with my new Supercard SD and Superpass.

Anyone else comment if this will work or not. Anyone else that maybe already has the White DS?

I so love my white PSP and wanted a DS version now.

it looks like all new colored ds's have the new firmware in it. i just bought an electric blue one thinking i was safe but according to dspassme.com everyone that had a blue one with my serial number didn't work

since the white one has been out for a really long time there is a chance you get one of the older ones but i don't know what the odds are exactly

also the fix for the new firmware involves a modified passme and a different flashcard. guess i'm stuck trading my brand new ds with my brothers scratched up silver one

yeah, i bought an electric blue the other day, and it didnt' work too.  i returned it and got a silver one (but i sold that yesterday).  based on the list on lynx's site, I think i have a pretty good idea of the serial range that works with passme (for the white DS).  so i'm going to ask the clerk at my import store if i can see the serial before i buy (it's not in a see-through window, as the U.S. version is, so i hope he'll open it for me)

so stressful.. maybe i should've just stuck with my old silver

Since I would have to order from Play-Asia online... I doubt they would check the serial numbers for me. So it looks like I'll stick with my silver one... it's not so bad though. Atleast everything works though.

You mentioned "lynx's site"... do they have the serial number breakdown? Maybe I can atleast give it a shot if I new what I was looking for.

they let u return it? the eb i got mine from doesn't let me return it as soon as its open. should have taken the sticker off more carefully i guess.

only reason i got my blue one was because i thought it would work, silver just seems so common. i'll find out on wed cause thats when i get my superpass

white one does, look cool though. i've been wanting one of those since it was released, hopefully they'll find an easy fix for it soon.  
i'll probably pick up the white one when i go to japan next summer, or even better, hopefully they have some really cool special edition one by then

There's any chance to Pure White works with Supercard + FlashME(Or Superpass) with only firmware?
Because my father is in Japan and I want so badly the Pure White. I am afraid of buying it and after all, the Romman releases a new Hardware of Supercard...
There is any chance to get the compatibility with Pure White only by Firmware updates?

Do u know if it's a new "release" of Pure White?
Because my father knows near "nothing" of videogames...
I guess I'll have to try, if not, I sold and buy another, the Pure White is really awesome *-*

Edit: Oh, one more question...the all DSes with serial starting with "NJM400" are compatible?

most of the white DS i've heard of start with NJH..  mine is NJM...  400 leads me to believe it's 'older' stock.  I purposely bought it from a small store which doesn't sell very many units (so that i would most likely get an OLD one).

chances are that the newer stock are using the same 512k flash like the IQue (not compatible with normal passme).

NRH400***** do not work according to the list on dspassme.com

Glad you were able to find one that works. I am emailing Play to see if they can find one for me. If they can't... is there any way you might be able to help in getting one? Let me know
