Other systems flash carts

My question is, has anyone thought of making carts, like the Supercard DS One, for other systems.  It'd be cool to pop in a SD card, filled with ROMS, into a NES/SNES/Genesis cart and actually play the games from their respected consoles.

Does anything like this already exist?

NES flash carts are hard to come by since you usually have to make them yourself.  On the other side, SNES copiers were actually very popular, though it might be hard to find one nowadays.  They don't take SD though - you'd have to flash the ROM chip manually.

Hmmm...Didn't neoflash release some for retro consoles?  I think I remember Genesis and N64.

They announced some but never released them.

I had a copier for the SNES & Genesis, which the games were loading from a 3 1/2" floppy disk. It was great.  :D

meh nothing can beat the real deal of a REAL RETRO CONSOLE.. cheap enough at your local car boot sale and games are too even from game stores most have a stash of old want to get rid of console games for next to nothing  :)

try second hand stores they are a goldmine of retro stuff along with ebay ... just look for the small sellers not the ones selling bundles as they usally want a bundle for their stuff  :(

altho .. I do like to emulate games systems on PC, DREAMCAST is also a cool way of emulating old systems as its basically WINDOWS CE as the DREAMCAST  O.S. that makes it easy to emulate on :)

you can also emulate on PS1,PS2 and no doubt PS3 (not gunna waste my cash on one) and XBOX/XBOX360 as well as PSP and DS of course  :)
