i have a sandisk 2 gig, i have no idea about any more than that. the 2 castelvaina games run with problems, the first one the opening movie runs flawed but the game play works. por the opening movie runs great, however the game freezes randomly.

form what i read kingston and sandisk are the two good cards, the reason i bought sandisk was it was the cheapest i could find and didnt know kingston was beter. because i cant plat por im considering geting a kingston, but from what i read there is a big difference between the japan version and the taiwan (sp) version. can any of you tell me if this is a good one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820134478&ATT=N82E16820134478&CMP=OTC-pricegrabbermerch&cm_mmc=OTC-pricegrabbermerch-_-Memory+(Flash+Memory)-_-Kingston+Technology-_-20134478 ?

also im more or less compleatly new to the ds stuff so if there is an option on it so my sandisk works without me buying a new card than thats great.

one more thing im sorry for bad spelling and if a thread like this was posted befor

i advise formating  FAT with 64k clusters to get a little more speed which could be your problem

heres a thread on formatting

i did get a bit more speed, but it wasnt enough. can anyone poing me to a good kingston microsd card. preferably under 30$

unless there is something that i have overlooked.

Yes, This has been a problem with a lot of Micro SD cards and their Speed. It should work if you've got a real Kingston Micro SD for one have a look on dealextreme.com

thanks it just hit the 30$ mark.

now here is my last concern, this should fix my problems, and if it dosent than so be it, i have a multimedia card and a game card, so win win, but i want to know this, should i get a 2 gig or a 1 gig. from what i hear 1 gigs are faster than a 2 gig, but what is a ds carts max size, because i know the games are not pushing it right now, but every console with a cartrage has some point where they increase the size for some games, i believe that the n64 was a 512 cart for resident evil, maby it was 265 but yea. but if a ds game could hit one gig, than that could be a problem in the future.

what im saying is will the probelm be fixed with the kingston even if it is the 2 gig?
also what games are the most speed intencive so i can test both cards out?
