I just loaded Nintendogs Chihuahua & Friends on the Supercard SD, When I start the DS Lite, The Super Card Cheat Screen comes up and I can actually Turn the Cheats on and off. I Didn't think this worked with the (Slot 2) Supercards. Why would it be working for this Rom. Thanks for your time.

Firmware 1.80/1.81 introduced the ability to have cheats in DS games, as well as the real-time book feature.

OKay I just spent 2 hours trying to get this to work.
Super KEY
SuperCard SD (SLOT 2)
Firmware 1.81
SC Patch V2.61
I can not get any Cheats to work on the Games, expect the Nintendogs that worked last night to my surprise. I have read as much as I can find on it. If some one has a link to a thread with a really good tutorial I would appreciate it. If not a quick tutorial here would be of great help.
Thanks for your time and patience.

I dont have a tutorial but have your patched the games your trying to use with the Lastest patch, if so then it may be that the games you are using dont support cheats.

BTW, When it outputs the rom does it output a SCC. file? If not then check you have the cheats enabled (Double Click on the rom in the supercard patcher and then check the cheat field)

Thanks, James Sandri

Hi, I am getting all three files on the SD Card (scc, sav, & dsq).
I am using the lastest SC Patching Programs V2.61
Any more Ideas I can look for or try, as I am a rookie trying to get the cheats to work on the DS.
Thanks for your time.

Excellent Guide, I have tried it that way as well, unfortunately still can't get the Cheat page to come up on game start, except on the one game mentioned (Nintendogs). I have also tried it with the cheats that are included with the latest Patching software (V2.61), but the cheats do not want to come up.
I wonder if it has something to do with Hotkeys. I have checked the settings and keep things the same as they are on Nintendogs, but other games don't seem to work.
Thank-you all for your patience and Help.
Waiting for more ideas, remember I am new to the adding DS cheats so it is probablty something simply I am missing. If you have an Idea throw it out there.
Thanks

Finally Got it to WorK. I Had to;
1. Reformat my SD Card
2. Send the three output files to a folder on my computer, and then transfer them to my SD Card. Before I would send the output files directly to the SD Card. I think my card reader is really slow and for some reason that may be causing the problem. Anyway it works great this way.
Thanks for the help and patience.
