hi sorry im newbie to this forum.. just wanna ask one -maybe- stupid question

what is 'ndsinfo.dat' file's function?

till now i think the .scc's files are the most important, but when i read this thread i found out that the dat files also important, which i dunno why..

the ndsinfo.dat tell the scdsone what roms are on your cart

1. game name
2. release number
3. save size

yeah its cause advanscene does not know what it is yet & thats what i use to get the save sizes
theres 4 games with unknown at the moment ill just put them to 512kb for now till the sizes become available

Ah, I didn't know you got the save sizes from there. I thought you looked in the rom for the save size(or something like that). I was going to ask you how you do it so I can update my own .dat.

When talking about games with multiple versions, it is the best to state which country (usa or euro) you are talking about. It is easy to get confused or confuse others if you do not mention that part (i know i do  )

ive been working on the .dat today fixing some mistakes from the official dat....

ive fixed
all the & mistakes
the first few Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney having the wrong save size

ive fixed the numbering mistakes not matching scene releases
0389 - Ice Age 2 - The Meltdown (EU)Legacy - 0390 - Animal Crossing - Wild World (EU)Legacy
0688 - Asphalt - Urban GT 2 (US)Legacy - 0689 - Bionicle Heroes (US)Legacy

im going to check through all the names & save sizes in the next few days to make sure its all ok
from now on i wont be following the sc team if they ever bring out a new .dat ill just keep following advanscene numbering & save sizes

It looks like i maybe stopped updating SCcheats a bit early as Narin has not been seen on GBAtemp for nearly a week & there's still been no mention of when the .scc files will be ready.
So i will carry on updating the site for a little bit longer until there's some news from Narin.

edit-I could make a new account at kodewerx and make them for the big games the next few months.  However, "pony luv" among other games aren't worth the trouble

i do make them myself
but Narin from GBAtemp said he was going to convert the R4.dat in to .scc files i even give him a tool that does it in a couple of seconds
he said on the 6th it would not be long so i stopped updating SCcheats on the 8th

now it looks like Narin has disappeared he has not been seen since the 11th on GBAtemp so im going to carry on updating SCcheats until i hear some news
