WOW, talk about ugly as hell, lol. ;D

QuoteNintendo tonight announced that they will be giving away free silicone covers for their Wii Remotes starting Oct. 15. The Wii Remote Jacket will also begin shipping with all Wiis, remotes sold separately and packs of Wii Play which include the remote.

The Wii Remote Jacket provides "cushioning for the Wii Remote for people who might accidentally throw or drop their Wii Remotes while playing games," according to the Nintendo press release.

no doubt, nothing for free goes without a price! Funny i was just thinking that this is a great way for Nintendo to get a serial number and address for each wii. Wonder what they will do with that info in the future? Also (i do not see black helicopters in the sky either), wonder if this will be used to identify the modders at all? makes you think a little doesn't it. Though my personal guess is to have all the users not bitch and moan about the freebees. As my statement above is a very expensive way of finding modders. ;)

It is said this free Wii glove thing will cost Nintendo $18million, I don't think their looking for modders at that price, lol.
