A lot of the times when I power on my ds lite, it doesn't recognize that there is my M3 simply inside slot 1, and loads up the normal starting screen when there are no game cartridges inserted.

How do I improve the connection between my M3 Simply and my ds lite's connectors?  This is really bugging me.

Some people report sticking a little piece of paper in between the cart and the ds (to push it tighter to the pins) does the trick. Give it a try.

wouldnt like to risk that as it may get stuck or even short out the ds

have you tried cleaning the contacts on the M3 ?

and do normal game cards load fine?

To clean the contacts, should I just use a dry cloth and wipe it down?

Use 91% alcohol (get this at any pharmacy....we sell it at CVS) and Q-Tips. Dip a q-tip and rub down the contacts on the M3 Simply. Be sure it's dry (alcohol dries FAST) and re-insert it into the DS. Let us know if that helps.

I read that using an eraser on the contacts is supposed to help somehow
