There's more than one out there.  What's everyone's preference?

Evening all   Damn good question - finally received all the bits & pieces for the cart this evening & currently taking it for a test drive - the native text reader in the Filmplay.bin is simply not up to the job, omission of bookmarks is unforgiveable.  Previous favourites have been the default text tool in the XGFlash software, (sadly not available as a standalone as far as I'm aware) wasn't too shabby supporting multiple books & bookmarks within the converted ROM (a pity the hardware isnt quite as robust).  For simple & elegant ebooks Dan Cotter's E-Book Advance software is worth a look.  Currently looking at Pat Crowe's Makebook V4.92b which seems to have a staggering amount of options :? ....

speaking of text readers, anyone know if the reader built into the supercard for reading the text during games has a bookmark or search feature?

paging through a 800 page (on the GBA) faq 10 pages at a time is not exactly my idea of convenient.

anyone know of an alternative like filmplay.bin that allows you to browse the CF for .txt files?
perhaps pogoshell?

I've added a mirror to MakeBook v4.3 (also known as Book Reader Advance) in the Much faster Supercard software mirror sticky.  You may wish to try it out if you're interested in a full-featured text reader.
