This is a wad for installing a Snes9x Wii 1.43 Channel on your Wii. You have to use the Twilight hack (and Wad Installer v2.1) to install this, but once it is installed it will create a Snes9x Channel on your Wii. Once the channel is installed you just put your roms on your sd card in a folder called "roms" in the snes9x folder (so on the root of your SD card you would have snes9x/roms) and then make a save folder in the snes9x for saves (snes9x/save). Then you don't need the Twilight hack anymore to play the Snes emulator, just launch the Snes9x Channel from your Wii's menu, pick a game and play it. This is completely removable with the wad uninstaller also.

Just a clarification, this uses SNES9x emulator, not the Wii's SNES emulator, right?

Right it is the Snes9x emulator v1.43 that has Wiimote and Classic controller support.

Whats the compatibility with snes roms?

It is high. Have not run across a game that could not be run, though I have yet to try Star Fox.

The Snes channel is there to put the SNES Virtual console out of business.  Emulation for the 2D games have been so close to perfect that unless Ninty puts out new content for them, it's hard to justify spending on the SNES/NES VC roms, I think.

Thanks a lot. I've just been using the twilight hack each time since I don't use it all that often. Does this have a custom banner and the proper name shown? Even if it doesn't it'll still be worth it.

just want to know if ghames that use special chips work properly like Mario RPG and Star fox? also does super metroid, CT and those games that usually give troubles to emulators work?

Mario RPG, StarFox and Metroid work just fine with no noticeable glitches.
