Thanks for the informative replies yesterday, that really helped.

I have an early silver DS I have flashed with wifime. I bought a supercard SD and flashed it up to 1.52 and then obtained a clean ROM from the newsgroups. I patched the ROM using supercard 2.42 and then put the SC in my DS. In the DS slot, I have Madden 2006.

I picked the ROM I had copied over, and it did what looked like a copy operation from the SD to the memory of the SC? And then all I got was a single white screen on top. I powered the unit off, turned it back on and went to the SC. It shows two entries now, what looks to be a corrupted name of the copy, and the second listing is the original file I copied to the SD card.

When I try launching the corrupted name entry file, I just get the single white screen on top again.

Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hmmm. Sounds like you're doing OK. I'd try formatting your card first off and then copying the file and its save over again and trying once over..

You are using passme or flashme, correct (with flashme you need to hold ABXY when turning on the DS, never have seen a single white screen except when using the SC in gba mode)
