just got my SC SD (1.53 /2.433 /bootr with FLASH ME v5)
and with an 512MB SD card, when i put multiple games on the card.
it works fine ,up to 5 games. if i put more then 5 games on it, it will not function anymore,

I have to format the card to get it working again, when i put more then 5 games on my card it will fuck up for sure.

does anyone know about this problem??
i mean, i should be able to fill up my SD card with games without having problems ,don't i??

please help me out if some one knows!

The fuller your card the more crashes you will have in games because the less space you have on the card the greater the access time.

I'd say the optimum setup is to leave 15-20% of your card empty.

sounds logical. But when i put more then 5 games on it, it will crash....
even if it are 5 smaller roms. mnore then 5 means that everything will hang up!

is there anthing i'm doing wrong??

My card has like 20mb left and every game i play on it works fine, this happens for both my IBM and Corsair SD cards

No idea why the number of games would cause any problems at all...

And critical: some people have the problem and some don't. If I have only 20 megs left EVERY game locks up at some point. I need at least 40 some free to get all my games working right.

i got it!! i think the cardreader/writer was in failure.
when i put the SD card in my JVC-GR DVP9 ,Digital Video Camera.
and copy the games thru the camera, everything works fine.
even if i have only 20mb left.

weird ,cause the writer does everything else fine (like photo's ,films and such)

But now i can at least play and copy multiple games.
