Speed of mini SD?

I got a Ultra II mini SD 1.0 GB from sandisk and it reads 10mb/s
and write 9mb/s.

Is that fast enough for me to play DS games like Animal Crossing or Mario Kart?
I now got an bit of slowdown with AC an with my SC CF I don't have that problem.
Ik hope that there is a mini SD who doesn't have slowdown or less then the mini SD I got now.

Or is there a better mini sd that I must buy?

I had a Sandisk regular 2GB Mini-SD not extreme (regular is like 25X 4kb/sec and extreme is like 50X 9kb/sec) and got a whole bunch of slowdown in AC in menus and going in and out of houses. I also go problems in Metroid Prime Pinball and in the menus of a few other games. I just bought an ATP ProMax 2GB 150X Mini-SD and everything is butter! It runs as if I have my real game cart in! All games and even the Castlevania test runs a 5/5 with perfect video and audio! You can get an 1GB ATP or Ritek Mini-SD both at 150X for cheap! 2GB's are much more then one but its worth it. I did not know that name: ATP.
I live in Holland so maybe I can find a store there with that brand.
Or is Kingston good to?

I can't find a store in Holland.
Is there another barnd who works great? Like Kingston or something?

I gave you links to stores that ship overseas. Its really hard to find Mini-SD cards in any store. Here in America I have gone to over 20 stores in my area and not one has any. You want a card with at least 80X READ/WRITE. I would suggest getting 150X as its best and the same price. Check the links I gave you as both stores ship internatinally fast!

But I first really want to know if for example Kingston is as good as ATP.
Then I can buy one her today in Holland.
If not then I am going to buy a ATP.

I looked at the pages but its al a blur to me.
At 1 page the don't ship it to me. At other pages I am not sure wat shipping methode to use and I don't want to wait to long for it to get here.
Sorry you did your best but I really don't know what to choose.

I want to buy a ATP but please can someone tell me if Kingston is good to or another brand.

I would rather buy it in Holland so I don't have to worry about garanties etc.

I never order anything outside of Holland so I am unsure what to do.

EDIT: I found it..a shop in holland woeiii

It is not a 1gb but the 512. The 512 took 2 to 3 weeks and the 1gb was still in stock. O men I cant wait!!!

Kingston = crap memory. Every good computer savvy person knows this. Its all about the quality and speed of the memory. ATP has the best qulaity of any memory maker. Ritek is right up there as well. Congrats on the purchase and you won't be able to tell the difference between a real ds game and a rom now!

Umhm wel a I got the mini sd and I tried it...it sucks

Sorry to say it this way but I am so dissapointed.

The intro is still very slow. Characters stil are moving slow in the intro. After a while it is a bit better.
So it is still the same as with my snadisk 1 gb ultra :?

I formatted to FAT (that is the right thing?)
Its only half full with games and stuff so there is no problem there.

I don't get it. When I got de SC CF it works great but with the mini its not so great.

EDIT: well sucks is a big word but I hoped that the slowdown in the beginning would be gone but it is the same as my sandisk.

I found a solution for the slowdown

junfeng85 has a option to load the game from the SC instead of loading it from de SD card.
And holy moly as far as I can see no slowdown.
So I think I bought the new for for nothing :x

The only thing negative is that it takes longer to load the game. But no slowdown on the intro, no slowdown with fisshing etc

hmm don't know if I should be happy or pissed off :|

Well already tested it and normaly at the intro it was very slow but changes it and now the intro works normal

So I gues that it should work fine when you get your Sandisk

So yeah I bought a ATP for well nothing I think :?

But o well I can use is for my cam or something else I think :|
