Formate the 1gb mini sd in fat16?

put the kernal file just slap on the mini sd...do i have to run it?, or is it ok just in the main directory also does it have to stay there or can i delete it once ive run it?

convert my roms, make folders for em and shove em in there

ummm i think thats it

Yes, format as FAT16.

Yes, put the firmware upgrade file in the root of your SD.  Run it from the Supercard menu in GBA mode.  You can delete the file after the firmware is updated.

Yes, make sure you run the patcher software and select ROM position and save to SD.  Then you can put the patched *.dsq and *.sav files in any directories you like.

it will only let me format as FAT or FAT32

Yes FAT = FAT16.  Just don't format with FAT32 or NTFS.
