I had flashme version 7 (270kb) and thought I would try the new flashme version 7 (526kb) that would allow for adjustable light settings on the DS Lite and certain DS Phats.

My Phat was the wrong version and I couldn't adjust light settings.  Now my problem is with the flashme V7 (526kb) certain homebrew games will sometimes hang or give 2 white screens when I boot them (DSLair and MarcaDS).  This happens about 40% of the time and never happened until I flashed with the V7 (526kb).

What this all boils down to is I would like to be able to rollback to the flashme V7 (270kb).  Is this possible and if so, how do I do it?

you just load the file of the older version on your supercard and boot it up.  Then flash and your back to the other one.

I had no idea there where two versions.
I just have the "normal/old" version (stealth) (I think) and it works like a charm, everything works including the light settings with my NDSL.
