Which ones would have the smallest filesizes?  Or is there some super efficient PSP movie app?

PSP Media Player  or something similar that can play XVID/DIVX video this will give a far SUPERIOR playback of XVID/DIVX encoded files file size maby bigger than dpg but XVID/DIVX is a more common and widely use format and would only need a resize to fit the PSP screen dimensions so save less time on re encoding

..dpg is good but slow to encode even on a fast machine and not always great playbacks on ds  :(

Well I'm only looking for best filesize, maybe I'll look at the DPGs quality and if it's that bad for a certain movie then I'll go to PSP.

main factor here is that you can use a pretty standard 23/25/30 FPS (frames per second) with XVID/DIVX  :)

DPG is around 15-20 at the most before it starts going choppy or out of sync or causes problems :(

the psp. its more powerful, therefore it can decode more highly compressed videos.

I'll have to agree here. The PSP is the perfect on the go movie companion....although the DS still reigns supreme when it comes to the games :)

Is there a better media player for PSP?  I've downloaded PMPlayer advance because of it's 66mhz option.  Are pmp files small?
