New owner of SCDS1 SDHC, and I would like to ask why the scshell video player stutters playing dpg files.  When I run the moonshell app v 1.71 within the scshell, the moonshell's video player plays the files stutter-free.  Is there a config file to tweak the scshell video player?

Thanks.

its because the built in moonshell is an old version (1.41) so to use the built in version you will have to use an old version of dpg tools to encode your videos to get stutter free video
so just stick with running 1.71 & if you use moonshell a lot you can install bliss's multiboot loader & boot moonshell with a button press when you boot up your DS
have a read of this thread for more info

Thanks again, now I have three OS options. I will use the moonshell for my multimedia.

I would like to add that using the TTMENU loader fixed a lot of my nds game issues. All of the roms I had that was white-screening using the SCSHELL played fine with the TTMENU loader. I was beginning to believe I had a faulty SCDS1 or my 8GB microSD was too slow. I tried all the SCHSELL tweaks to make them work within that OS but was never successful.

Turn off Dithering and the video wont be stuttering anymore.
