i havent been able to get any of the action replay codes to work on my SuperCard Lite Rumble version

i have the latest firmware and latest SC software

the problem im having is that i can bring up the Cheat code menu (L+R+UP+START)... it just does nothing in the game.
im pretty sure i got the correct scc file and loaded it with the rom file w/ the software..
am i doing anything wrong or missing something?

i dont know what i did  but it works now

but it really sucks that i dont know what i did cause i dont know how to do this to my other games.
