For years we've been telling people that a PDF viewer on the DS doesn't exist and would be incredibly slow if ever created, and instead suggested exporting to JPEG and using ComicBookDS.

Well, this isn't the total answer for ebook reading on the DS without conversion, but a PDF viewer has surfaced and seems to be fairly functional for PDF files without large images.

Seems to work alright for a few of the PDF files I've tested, though ones consisting of nothing but images failed to load.  Definitely worth a shot though, and the author could use your submissions for nonworking PDF files to improve compatibility.

Cool beans. I'll be using this. I've got some text only pdfs that I'd like to take on the go. Thanks for postin this.

Copy the binary to your card along with your PDF files.  Launch the binary, choose the PDF to view.

Where you put it doesn't matter.  Put the .nds file and your PDF files wherever you want.  Launch it like you would launch any other game.

It works with small images and documents that are not too long, due to memory constraints. The author might make a version that uses memory expansions which would be great for those of us with slot-2's.
