heres a very basic guide for getting moonshell 2 booting first on the supercard dsonei

files
YSMenu = http://home.usay.jp/pc/etc/nds
TTmenu = http://gamewiki.jp/uploader/dsm/
MoonShell 2.0? = http://home.att.ne.jp/blue/moonlight/
DLDI = http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI
linoul's YSloader for MoonShell 2 = http://www.linoul.cn/moonshell/post/20090505274.html
MSFORSC.NDS from bliss = MSFORSC.NDS


1. make YSmenu (google how to do it)
2. copy moonshl2 folder & moonshl2_DirectBoot.nds to root of card
3. copy nds.YSloaderForMS2.nds & config.ini to moonshl2\extlink
4. copy TTmenu folder to root of card
5. make a YSMENU folder on root of card & put in ttpatch.dat, ttdldi.dat, YSMenu.INI & YSmenu.nds
6. rename moonshl2_DirectBoot.nds to TTMENU.DAT
7. DLDI patch TTMENU.DAT with the TTDS DLDI file
8. put MSFORSC.NDS on root of card

now it should look like this



now memory cards i have two both work 2GB none SDHC & 4GB SDHC

2GB none SDHC works with no special formating
4GB SDHC needs to be formated with FAT with 32kb clusters or you just get fat errors

i havent tryed any other cards sorry

just tested a 8GB SDHC memory card formated to FAT32 with 32kb clusters & it works fine

I thought that was only possible on the DSTT and one or two other devices.  How exactly did you get it to boot commercial roms from within MS2?

its probably the same way as the dstt
i used ysmenu & the nds.YSloaderForMS2.nds file thats knocking about then just renaming moonshl2_DirectBoot.nds

i was rather drunk when i made that last video heres one thats a bit better quality

I'm sorry to bother you with this noobish question but can you explain in detail how you got it, like I know there is not much to explain and it should be straight forward and all, but I can't seem to get it to work, I can get Moonshell2 to boot commercial roms but I can't make it autoboot, I've tried renaming moonshl2_DirectBoot.nds to MSFORCSC.NDS but it would just say "No English Ver. Please shut off NDS"

just pretend your using a dstt & rename your moonshl2_DirectBoot.nds to TTMENU.DAT & make sure you dldi patch with the dstt dldi file as the one for the dsonei sucks

Oh I see rename it to TTMENU.DAT  sorry for another noobish question but how to you boot it then, I will try while waiting patiently for your reply xD

yeah sorry
you need to get a proper TTMENU.DAT & rename it to MSFORCSC.NDS
i found that the 1.17 TTMENU.DAT didnt work properly it give me fat errors so i just sived throw my old TTMENU.DATs until i found one that worked
(i dont know which one worked sorry)

Thanks, I'll try this tonight when I have my dsi.

Just for the sake of trying to exactly replicate this, what dldi patcher do you use?
