I dldi patched them using the DLDI for the SuperCard. Should I use the TTDS DLDI instead? Also would this also fix the white screen problem when trying to auto boot Moonshell?

jmr whats does the TTMENU folder contain? supercard cheat databse?  TTMENU cheat databse? or ?

im not sure if you need anything in the ttmenu folder apart for the usrcheat.dat
but i just put the full ttmenu folder on with everthing init

Ok redoing it with the TTDS DLDI...Moonshell either whitescreens or says something on line of "Can't find english ver". So I still can't auto boot Moonshell.

As for YSMenu...now it just whitescreens on me...

Perhaps you can just PM me the working build of it? Nothing I'm doing is working...

(also, Moonshell 2.05 is unusable for me. When running it normally it always just freezes halfway through the logo screen animaton...So I can only use v2.04 at the moment)

Ok tankerbot...are you trying to load MSFORSC.NDS ? I had the same problem myself...If you try to load the MSFORSC.NDS file in your SC...You will keep getting the same results so try to load a game instead

Tried that....Just end up with it saying: Error: fatInitdefault on the botton screen upon loading a game.

So nothing works for me. I used the DLDI that game with a already compiled pack that someone else did for the SuperCard. Even when the DLDI he used was left as it is it still didn't work.

What format do you have your SD card at? Mines a 4gb SDHC that's FAT32 32kb cluster size.

What's odd I was able to boot YSMenu up and scroll through games but it would freeze when I tried to load one. Later on after I tried other DLDI combinations however YSMenu just sits at the loading animation screen you first see when it boots up.

UPDATE:

I FINALLY got it work! As it turns out I had to dldi patch the ttmenu.dat file with the TTDS dldi not the YSMenu.nds file (which needs the Supercard DLDI).

However after that it wouldn't work (YSMenu would just freeze at the loading screen) untill I downloaded your MSFORSC.NDS file (the Bliss Loader I believe). I didn't expect it to work, but holy crap I finally autobooted into moonshell!

Took me a long while but finally got it working. Also.....the preconfigured pack at GBATEMP is LIES. The dumbass that made it used DLDI for the R4! WTF? He even said in the download entry that the "pack" was for the Supercard....LIES.

or he screwed up and forgot to use the correct DLDI....dumbass....

His files work...except for the autobooter and the dat file...Because of his error on the DLDI. So perhaps I can recompile the working compilation (minus the YSMenu.nds file as I'm aware the author doesn't want it distributed directly). I can upload it and all you other users have to worry about is installing YSMenu.nds at the root of the card.

Well, good work sir! Works as explained. Even boots jEnesisDS, wich de official SuperCard launcher does not.
Well, it loads, but freezes when trying to boot a rom, so it should be a problem with SuperCard loader, I guess...

Working with an 8GB sd card FAt32 32 kb cluster on a DSi. Also able to reset into SC firmware by placing MSFORSC.NDS into resetme folder.

Still not sure of the benefits of not using the SC normal shell, especially as the SAV files need to be renamed.

Can someone give me good reason to make the change permanent, considering the loading of ROMS takes longer.

well nothing permanent my son now uses the SCmenu
but i think using YSmenu/TTmenu/moonshell2 is worth it just for the cheats as the dsone/i has a ugly menu which cuts of after 14 characters

the SCteam have been very quite lately so maybe were getting a new OS (we can only hope)

Thanks for that. The cheats don't interest me; the only one I wanted to use (Black Sigil, to lower the random encounter rate), didn't seem to work. Also, I like the realtime save function on the SC. Also, I don't use the DSi as a music/video player, just for the roms.

Still, I was pretty chuffed to get in working; I used your tut and also Keelys from GBA temp.
