Feature Suggestion

I have opened a feature suggestion thread:
no flaming please
so far our list is at:

- Upgrade to Moonshell 2
- Add support for alternate save location aka save folder
- A small forgetting in the DIY: http://forum.supercard.sc/thread-3457-1-2.html
- Mutli-language : http://forum.supercard.sc/thread-2706-1-1.html
- Add a full support for long names in .sav files (not any more 123456~1.sav !)
- Add sdspeedtxt= in skin.ini file to change the color of the text on the SDSPEED.BMP image.
- Add transparency (00ff00) to buttons : save, add, multisaver, ok... and even for all UI elements (title bar, progress bar... etc)
- Fix the button multisave and not mulitsave !
- Fix the prgbara.bmp and prgbard.bmp in OS archive. They have to be in 256x16 to work NOT in 16x16 fix that !
- Copy Paste functions
- Wii Connectivity (if possible)
- A smaller font on the screen list of cheats
- A smaller font on the in-game guides
- ability to do self test

These features sound nice. My question is how are you going to persuade SC crew to work on these features?

Based on the exact same posts he's made at GBATemp and the SC forum, he doesn't have any particular plan other than "email them a gigantic list they can easily ignore"

Look, I know that it's a noble cause and all, but people have been emailing them about this type of thing for ages. Why would they look at your message any more than all the others they've got?

Maybe if he/we the community/... fix a few of those that we can fix our self and send those patches to them, they'll include them.

The it's only a matter of placing the files in the correct folder for them.

What about that one? I REALLY would like to see this one fixed.

That could be difficult, as the source code for the modified Moonshell is not available. Would take a lot of reverse-engineering to figure it out.

This is only a partial source code of the OS1, now we are in OS3SP8.

The OS1 was just a moonshell 1.41 with the ability to launch ROM, not less not more (no softreset, cheat, DMA...).

Pitty, I never really looked at the code so I assumed it was the latest one.
