Flashing DS with passme2

I want to flashme my new firmware DS using a regular GBA flash cart (EZFA-256) rather than use my new supercard.  It seems doing it with the supercard is a little more involved and I've already flashed an older DS using the EZFA successfully.

So is the procedure to flashme the new DS using the EZFA cart the same as before?  Just append a loader onto the flashme.nds file, put it on the EZFA and boot with passme2 inserted?  (this is with passme2 programmed to a certain image with the matching original inserted, of course)

There's a special savedata you have to put in the SRAM for PassMe2 to function. Nintendo blocked executing code from the GBA ROM space in DS mode, but they did not block executing code from the GBA SRAM in DS mode. This is what the PassMe2 exploits.

I'd suggest checking out natrium42.com or dspassme.com and seeing if they have "how-to" tutorials.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

It is SUPER easy to use the passme2 with the Supercard. Just get Pepsiman's passme2buttonwait.gba file, and read Lynx's tutorial. It is very straight forward and literally takes seconds to get a new firmware DS flashed.

I've also posted a little something here if you want another perspective. :)

Thanks for the help....

So it sounds like I need to do the "quick" insert of the passme2 regardless of whether I use a Supercard or an older GBA flash cart?  That's the part I was worried about.  If that's the case, I'll just use the Supercard.

How do you load to the sram without Pepsiman's tools on the SC? I only have the euro mariokart(which isn't in pepsiman's tools yet) so far and that's what I'm going to program to my ez-pass 2 when I get it(already have the .jed and .sav files for it). There must be another way to load a .sav in the sram?

I do also have a ezfa card as well, but the client refused to even let me add the .sav.
