It seems that there are alot of games that work for some people and dont for others I intentionaly bought a first gen ds off of ebay and a sc sd + superpass all should be coming pretty soon but it everyones saying the cf version is better as far as compatability anyway for the price I cant complain its just confusing hearing all the different results just dont want to end up with a dud package :?

you'll be fine. just make sure your SD card is decent quality.  i have both CF and SD, and yes, the CF has better overall compatibility and streaming speed, but my lexar SD card works fine.

also, try using some punctuation in your post.  (commas, periods, etc..)

zektor

I too have both cards. The SD version is just fine, you'll love it..trust me!
Nintendo DSi
Nintendo Wii - cIOS38 Revision 12 (and more)
Madden PSP Slim v5.00 M33-6

There were reports not long ago about CF having higher compatibility... but that was a bad version. Now both have pretty much identical compatibility. CF does have smoother playback of the castlevania movie... right now that's about all it has over the SD version.

i guess now it really only goes down to a slight difference in compatability vs visual appearence of the carts

According to that, only 1 DS game works on CF and doesn't work on SD... and that's ultimate spiderman... and it's incorrect. -is playing ultimate spiderman on his SD SC right this moment to further prove his point-
