Some people say Ultimate Spider-man works fine with the new software. But I own a SD superdcard, a fast SD card, the latest firmware and software and it still locks-up during either the intro or the game! I can't even TRY the pause trick at the beginning of the game because it freezes before that. Sometimes it locks-up diring the "Nintendo" screen (at the very beginning of game intro).

All other games work flawlessly (haven't tried Tony Hawk yet).

Can anyone please help? I honestly believe no one has been able to get it to play ok yet...

Does'nt work for me either.  Freezes at opening credits right away at "Nintendo".  I could get farther with the last software but it would freeze during the intro.

The only way that I know to get the game working is to use cut32 or ndspatcher that will trim the rom to 32mb.  Then when you start your game keep pressing start til you get to fight Venom and go from there.  If you trim the rom the downside is sound comes and goes and you can't watch any cut scenes, you have to skip those or it will freeze.

If you don't know what or where to get cut32 or ndspatcher check the ds compatibility forum.  There are topics and links there.  Good luck and Merry Christmas!
