Hi guys.

I successfully flashed my new blue NDS. Had to set my Superpass 2 to Mario 64, ASME-1, and flashed it with flashme v6. Everything went fine. But I noticed that there is one pixel on the top screen that stays red constantly while playing games, both off the Supercard SD and original DS carts. It is just below the middle of the screen and its starting to get annoying. Is there anyone else out there with this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks

honestly sounds like a dead pixel since its new take it back to the place you bought it from and they should exchange it for you. my friend has 2 on his but they are green.

not so fast, theres a program made for fixing this, it flashes different colours on the screen fixing the pixel. apperently its very effective and a much better solution then taking it back, especially if u have flashed ur ds. i cant remember the name atm, but if i find it ill post it although im sure a member with a better memory will know it lol

**Edit**

its Cory's PixelFixerv2
u can get it at http://nds.cmamod.com/download.html
64 PORTS 4EVER!!!!!

Thanks Lemoe. I d/l the file, but it didnt seem to fix the problem. I found out that I have 2 other dead pixels on the bottom screen. Oh well thanks for the help anyway. Its only my brothers so he will have to live with it.

o_O I'd say you should just go back and replace it. I highly doubt they'll check your DS when you return it... and no one will track you down if you return it with modified firmware (it'll probably be stripped for parts, firmware reflashed, then sold again anyways)

I have reflashed with flashme_stealth v6 so it boots like normal and will take it back tomorrow. As long as they dont trace it back to me somehow. Thanks for all your help guys.

What can they do if they trace it back to you? You can't be charged for anything. It's not illegal to modify hardware you own. Since you are going through a third party to return hardware you probably won't run into any warranty problems. Walmart or target or whereever you got it won't be able to test if the warranty has been voided, and once they trade it in, they take on responsibility for the device.

Yeah i was only joking. Not to worry anyway. Took it back today. Got it exchanged for another new blue ds. Flashed it again and no pixel problems. Just a faulty one from before.
