Does the supercard software works under linux with wine?

please help me

i'm a mac user and patching roms with virtual pc it's a painful process :cry:

why the supercard team doesn't release the source code of their apps?
supercard it's a geeky stuff, and geeks like me use linux or mac :lol: :lol:

I've just discovered that someone it's making a wine porting for osx (it's a very difficult job beacause they have to emulate also an x86processor with qemu)

i'm dowloading it.. maybe should work with supercard program (don't think it needs lot of windows' api)

yeah, it works, i can vouch for it as well.

i just couldn't run it as a shortcut for some reason. but 'wine SuperCardsd.exe' works wonders.

i rarely boot into windows now.

Can you give me more info on how to do it. I tried using Crossover office, and while it installed correctly, I couldn't select any files (the file selector won't appear)

This is just another verification that the Super Card software does indeed work under Wine. I have both Cedega and CrossOver Pro installed, and only CrossOver worked with the SD application. Just a heads up!

Karurosu, did you check under the main window? I use it with crossover a lot and noticed there's some wonkyness with the window. The main window is generally on top while the flie selector window is a normal window for some reason. I know it sounds like a stupid suggestion but it's worth a shot...

cedega would hang for me there too.

i had to use normal old wine, but it works fine.
