I got it from Kicktrading ordered it and received it after a week. Their service is excellent!! very informative and professional.. anyways here is my initial thought on the Supercard after been using it for a few days.

Pros
1. Able to use the CF Card means more game in one BIG space

2. Very intuitive program interface means easy to use

3. Fairly reliable build quility

4. Actually, the speed of the rom on board in Supercard is quite fast
   means fast game loading time.

Cons
1. Almost 9 out of 10 games have slowing down problem.
-Admit it. Supercard is far from perfect let alone even ejoyable.
This is a fatal problem for a flash card because it prevents you to
have a fun gaming experience and then what is the purpose of getting
the flashcard in the first place? just to see that the game "works"?
    I don't think so.

2. CF card sticking out
-I guess we just have to live with that.

3. Way too slow program updates.
-Seeing how immature the Supercard is right now, it isn't a good sign.

4. Battery Life
-Yup. You guessed it. That little thing is a battery killer.

The Hope Factor

I believe that the problems we are having currently with the supercard can be solved by smart programing of the supercard interface. I believe if a guy behind the supercard should put some more effort and dedicated work to make it perfect, it will be. I guess it is just a matter of time because the idea behind the supercard IMHO is awesome.

Thank you for reading my post and I apologize my poor English skill.
English is my second language. ;)

Check out our master compatibility list in the compatibility section.  You'll see that overall most games tend to work fine.  There are a good number of games with slowdown and other problems, but it isn't anything like 9/10 games.

Currently all signs show that the slowdown issues are hardware related, so there isn't much hope of a software update that will fix these problems.   :-x

I could find a lot of errors in that list. It seems that people don't play it thoroughly before they post it here. Well, as for me, it doesn't matter anymore that I'm getting a new flash and I'm returning my 1G CF.. now if I could only return the SC... sigh.. -o-

You can sell it on eBay.

If you wanna sell pm me the price and I might buy it.

9/10 ..... yeah right.... maybe if u just happend to test every poorly working game from the list. for me its like like 95% work fine while 5% or less have problems. anyway, i haev to agree about the updates.... im losing more and more hope, and im getting pissed off. all i really even want is for the newest movie player firmware updates to be added. looks like thats not ever gonna happen. or at the least release the source code so that maybe the handfull of people in the SC scene who are actually willing to code for it will have a chance while they still have interest in it.

I haven't tried the few games that definitely have issues but I've run into one game so far (GT Advance) that didn't run properly for me.  I haven't looked that game up yet to see if it runs unpatched, etc.  I've tried a few dozen other games and haven't had any problems. Haven't tried any of the emulation yet.  9/10 games not working is a complete lie by the above poster.

I've converted a few videos and am very happy with how they look and sound on the SP.  Ebook Advance is a really nice ebook reader but doesn't handle the in game save well.  So I use the quick boot method with it and save to flash that way.

The SC seems sensitive to what you format your CF card with.  I had a 256 meg Efilm card working fine yesterday when I first got the unit.  Reformatted it FAT through my photoprinter's reader and I couldn't see anything on the card in the SC.  I tried reformatting it again, no luck.  Took to my laptop with a  USB CF reader and formatted it, no problem now.

I think now I may be tempted to get a DS.  Though even with the CF sticking out about a half inch the SP is still easy to carry around in my pocket.

You ought to remove your CF card when you put your SP in your pocket.  If pressure is put onto the CF card while it's in the Supercard it could bend/break the pins on the Supercard and render it useless.

Yeah I didn't think about that until I looked in the SC and saw there's just pins sticking out in there with nothing around them.

I've just got my supercard, to go along side a 128 XGFlash 2005 Cart.

I must say it's a really impressive piece of kit, amazinly cheap as well.

OK yes there are some probs with some games but like I said above I have a 128 flash cart for these games.

the ease and speed of putting games on is amazing, the XG is sooo slow, 4 mins to flash - I have the USB linker.

the inbuilt ability to run roms is nice but I must admit I find myself using the compression and sticking them inside an emulator.gba (ie. goomba.gba)

the realtime save is great, as is the ability to delete the .sci and save space ! I only have a 128 flash at the mo but that works out as a 1Gbit flash cart !

I'd say it's a perfect companion to go along side a flash cart if you want to be able to play everything.

If you are on a tight budget then the 2 cost me the same £32, so you have the choice of 1 game only or multiple games.

movie player is ok as well, a nice bonus, my main reason for getting it was that goomba sat on my XGflash 90% of the time!

Is there an issue with Urbz on the newest software + firmware ? just looks like it reading through here.

Yeah I'm happy with mine too.  I have a couple 512 meg CFs now.  Holds a lot of games, more than I could ever play.  I compress my roms and delete real time saves on all but a few games that really benefit from them.  I think the issue with Urbz is it's too big to fit into the SC's 256 mb memory after the SC patches it.  People have posted that if you use a GBA Rom size reducer and then patch Urbz with only the saver it will fit into memory and work.

I don't know how long any of you have been using flash carts, but I remember in the "early" days a LOT of games wouldn't work on even traditional flash carts.  A lot of folks had problems with games that wouldn't run or save on F2A, EZ, XG, and other types of "normal" flash carts, and it's only been in the last year or so that the teething troubles have gone away.  Considering that the SC isn't a "mature" product yet, I'm amazed at how well it actually does work.

That said, has anyone gotten "Another World" / "Out Of This World" to run yet?  It's a PD rom available from http://www.foxysoft.com

Another World dies after the initial screen for me.

Works fine for me. I've played about half way through. I think I patched it with the 2.2 software, though... maybe some incompatibility was introduced in 2.3?

Bafyo

I've just finished another world quite a long time ago! I think it was maybe 2.10 supercard software...

Nice pd rom but defintely too dark to be seen (even in total dark)
