A-Data 150x 1GB SD Not Detected

So based on the positive opinions of the A-Data 150x SD cards, I picked up a 1GB version to go with my SC SD. However to keep this short and simple, it's not working, either on the 1.60 or 1.54 firmware*. The SC is partially seeing the card, as it knows when the write-lock is on, but otherwise I'm getting that all too familiar "not detect SD" error. So if anyone has any advice on the matter, especially those of you with A-Data cards, I'd appreciate it. TIA.

* Yes the SC is fine, it's been working without a hitch with my 128MB Lexar card

Have you formatted the card to be fat16/fat ?

Yes, format it as FAT not FAT32. Does windows read/write the SD just fine? Did you already have your setup working with a smaller SD? The problem may not be your SD.

Yes, the SD card is formatted as FAT16 and works fine as far as I can tell. And yes, I've used this setup before with a smaller SD card(a 128MB Lexar) without an issue, so it seems unlikely that the SC itself is bad. I'm fairly sure I've covered all the easy stuff here, so I'm not sure what could be wrong.

Try putting the SD in at a slight angle, or maybe put it in then pull it out just a tad so its not too snug.  Others have had this problem with the supercard.
