SC Font ¿What this it?

That they mean the SC font's?  Font that come in some paginate of discharge of the SC they are for the software or the hardware?  
Since several download of them and not you if I interprets bad but as I understood it is possible to change the sources of the menu of my supercard  
and if it is as well as can these changes be applied?  
My English is not very good for that reason I ask this question

The scfont file allows you to display English, Chinese, Japanese file name in your supercard. I renamed some of the games in chinese and they show nicely on my SC.
 love SC! :D

Having SCCF, SCSD, SCminisd, SCDS, M3CF, M3SD (the large one), M3minisd, G6 lite and gamebank128M

As to use or to apply the sources?  
are they for the software or for the hardware?
