After getting at least 256 gold coin, edit your .sav
At position 117h and 797h ( if you use the first save slot ) you'll see your gold amount. Of course there is a CRC but if you just invert two bytes the CRC is the same.
So if you got 655 Gold coin, it displays 028F in the .sav, change it to 8F02 and you got 36610 gold. Tested on many savegames, worked each time.

Apparently the CRC is stored at 100h (and 780h), if someone could figure out how it is done, we could do much more whith those saves !
