I got a Game boy color rom of Pokemon Red, I would save it says the game is saved, but when I turn it off and turn it back on all I see is

>New Game
>Options

anyone know how I can get the saving working? I tried manually making a copy and making it a .sav, I tried converting it with the Super Card program, and I tried using that saver thing  when you start up the supercard and nothing has worked.

Just make sure you have a .sav file corosponding to the ROM. That is, get the NesFileName.sav file from your SC patcher directory and rename it. If your ROM is pokemonred.gb, you'd rename the save file pokemonred.sav, I believe. Then just hit L+R+Select+A to save to your card.
