Classic emulation: SNES Advance, NES/SNES DS

Okay, first off:

*SNES Advance. How does it handle the lack of X/Y buttons on the original GBA?

More importantly though... for NES and SNES DS... are they still being worked on? It seems like Loopy stopped work at the very end of last year, since the most recent builds of both are from around 12/30/2005. It's a shame, because SNES emulation on DS has a long way to go but - with a lot of work - could be really amazing. I mean, the DS is the perfect portable for it. (Well, let's ignore PSP, since it's doing well enough as is >_>) And for NES DS, it's leaps and bounds ahead of PocketNES, but there is no saving - definitely a disappointment, because if there were savestates or even just regular saving there would be no contest between the two, but I occasionally have to switch to the uglier PocketNES to save. I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult (at least, not compared to actually getting the program as far as it is already) to make a saving feature that doesn't crash SuperCards.

Thanks in advance.

As you would expect with SNES Advance... running without the extra buttons suck... not even worth the time if you ask me.  But as far as Loopy working on newer versions of SNESDS, that all remains to be seen.  As much as I would like to see a good release for the emu, you have to realize that Loopy has other project and other RL situations that he must tend to.  I'm sure he works on it whenever he has free time but, nothing is guaranteed.
