did any of you guys ever had that error while buring files to your CF/SD? its a fastfat error so I'm sure that its related to my CF and of course t happened while I was transfering some files to the CF, I was afraid that it was a memory falt but it oinly happens with the cf so... do is it the CF that is falty or maybe the card reader? heres the complete windows report

Event Type:   Warning
Event Source:   Fastfat
Event Category:   None
Event ID:   50
Date:      6/6/2006
Time:      14:20:55
User:      N/A
Computer:   CAS2
Description:
{Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for the file . The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.

also I've just started to use scummvmDS(v 0.61) and he(autor) mentions something about data corruption, but only for sd users though..., and its intermitent, doesn't happen everytime, I'll try to reformat it and keep testing, I don't know how CF cards deal with bad sectors.

or maybe is because today is the 6/6/06.. and weird shit is happening.... now I'm scared

/me runs to the bathroom(yeah the bathroom is allways a safe place)
SC CF + 1GB Kingston CF + flashed NDS = a whole lot of fun.

I'm not sure, but I've seen that message before when removable media is removed too quickly after copying many files.  Windows sometimes continues it's transfer process in the background even after it gives all appearances of having completed the task.  Did you reformat the CF and try again?  Delayed write can be disabled . . .

-Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties.
-Click on the Hardware tab.
-Click on the Device Manager button.
Find the device in the list, probably under "Disk Drives."
-Right-click on the device and choose Properties.
-Click on the Policies tab.
-Uncheck Enable write caching on disk.
-Click on OK.
