CF Pass through cable?

Greetings,

I am just getting into the homebrew scene (looks exciting), but have spotted an issue with the turnaround cycle. Even with the Superkey the 'code/compile/etc, put onto card, put card into Supercard' is a little heavy. My coding style is to make small changes and test often, so it is pretty annoying.

I had the idea that it could be sped up if such a device exists, a cable that would plug into the CF slot of the SuperCard and into my PC directly (perhaps USB?) and treat a partition of my hard drive as if it was a CF card. Seems like it might speed up the dev cycle.

Does such a device exist? Any pitfalls I am forgetting (other then the FAT format issue?). I attempted to google for it, but I am not even sure what it would be called. :)

Thanks

you could use an emulator to test on pc
